Eustis High Basketball Star Jayveon Dale Commits To Palm Beach State
Jayveon Dale, who was one of Lake County’s best senior basketball players in 2024, has committed to Palm Beach State, located in Lake Worth Beach, Florida.
Dale put in a ton of work last season and led Eustis High School to the Regional Semifinals. He ended the year averaging 14.3 points per game, along with 5.3 rebounds and 3.2 steals per game.
Dale also led the team in scoring with 386 points, shooting 46% from the field and making 47 three-pointers during the 2023/2024 season.
Dale will be remembered for his amazing play on the court and his leadership off it. Palm Beach State is gaining a truly exceptional player. He was joined by his family, friends, Coach Wesley Nino Green, and others as he signed his commitment letter to Palm Beach State.
Eustis High School has a reputation for sending incredible athletes to college, led by one of our area’s great coaches, Wesley Nino Green, who continues to positively impact players in the Eustis High School basketball program.

Kyle Coppola was born in Newton, Massachusetts and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications from Curry College in 2016. After traveling to Florida on a family vacation, he decided he could not get enough of the warm weather and made the move from snowy Massachusetts to central Florida 8 years ago.
For the last decade Kyle has gained valuable experience in social media content creation, marketing and sales, writing, video production, sports announcing and even broadcasting for local radio stations, such as FM 102.9 in The Villages and FM 91.5 in Massachusetts. Every year he volunteers at The Villages Charter High School as a play-by-play sports announcer for the football games as well as a public address announcer for the basketball games, including the annual Battle at The Villages Tournament.
Outside the office Kyle is a husband and father to two beautiful girls along with their cat. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, travel, play golf and swim. He is also a huge sports junkie and even bigger motorsports fan and loves to attend racing events when he can.
