EUSTIS, Fla. — Eustis High School softball standout Kaylen Bublitz, a key figure in the team’s 2024 Class 4A State Championship victory, has officially signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Seminole State College.

Known for her work ethic and blazing speed on the basepaths, Bublitz delivered one of the defining moments of the Panthers’ championship run earlier this year. In the state title game she scored the winning run when Kendall Kemp delivered a clutch hit to seal the victory drove in Kaylen for the winning run.

Across her varsity career, Bublitz has delivered at the plate, boasting a .417 batting average. No matter what role she plays on the team, be it in the field, at the plate or as a pinch runner, Kaylen is always willing to do what it takes to help the team win.

Kaylen’s athleticism and competitive spirit make her a perfect fit for Seminole State. We can’t wait to see how she grows as a player and student. Bublitz’s signing marks a new chapter for the young athlete, who expressed gratitude for her family, coaches, and teammates for their unwavering support throughout her high school career which will wrap up later this spring.

Eustis High’s softball program continues to evolve with head coach Brittany Beall leaving to coach the FAMU Rattlers. Tyra Bowers was named the new head coach of the Lady Panthers and will look to continue the legacy that coach Beall built.

We are so happy for Kaylen Bublitz, her family, friends and coaches who have helped her get to this point. Congratulations!
