Eustis High’s Dallas Rasmussen Commits To Davis & Elkins College
EUSTIS, Fla. — Eustis High School pitcher and standout batter Dallas Rasmussen has signed his commitment to Davis & Elkins College an NCAA Division II program, where he will continue his baseball journey. Rasmussen, a junior with a 4.2 weighted GPA and a 3.73 unweighted GPA, transferred to Eustis this year after previously playing for Tavares High School.
“I’m blessed to announce that I will be continuing my baseball journey at Davis and Elkins College,” Rasmussen shared in a statement. “I would like to thank God, my Coaches, my family, and my friends for all helping me along my journey. Thank you to the Coaches at Davis and Elkins College for the opportunity!”
Rasmussen has established himself as a versatile asset on the diamond, excelling both on the mound and at the plate. As a sophomore, he posted a stellar 4-2 record as a pitcher, maintaining a 2.94 ERA. He struck out 47 batters and allowed only 15 earned runs while facing 168 batters. He also had a good junior year especially on the travel baseball scene.
Known for his work ethic and grounded values—he often references Proverbs 12:24, which emphasizes diligence—Rasmussen credits his success to faith, family, and the mentorship of his coaches.
Now representing Eustis High, Rasmussen looks to build on his impressive track record as he prepares for his collegiate career at Davis & Elkins, where he aims to make an immediate impact on the Senators’ baseball program.
Davis & Elkins coach Brett Ripley says “We are excited to add Dallas to the program. He brings a bulldog mentality to the diamond and looks to make an immediate impact.”
We are very excited for Dallas, his family, friends and coaches who have worked hard to get him to this point. Keep up the great work Dallas!
