First Academy (Leesburg) will celebrate their 35th anniversary on Friday August 11th at 5:30pm! There will be a catered dinner, silent auction, and carnival! There will be T-Shirts that you can buy this summer only that students may wear all year on Thursdays.

Carnival Tickets will be $20 and Catered Dinner tickets are $15. You can purchase tickets in person at First Academy’s Back-To-School Night, At their Temporary Box Office (The Picnic Area) During the first week of school, or at the gym door on the night of the celebration!

This is a big anniversary for this program! 35 years is a long time. In that time, we have seen the growth of our area explode in population. With it has come the need for good Bible based Christian and Catholic programs that have been sorely needed in our area. First Academy along with Mount Dora Christian Academy have been the leaders of our area with providing families, institutions that fit their needs.

First Academy-Leesburg campus is Accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Cognia, First Academy-Leesburg provides a Christian worldview and a college prep program to students living in Lake, Sumter, and Marion counties. Students have the opportunity to try out for a wide range of sport activities. A number of clubs and organizations also exist which allow students to engage in leadership and service activities.
