Four Eustis High Seniors Celebrate Dual Graduation, Welding Bright Futures At Lake Tech

EUSTIS, Fla. — Four Eustis High School seniors marked a milestone week as they celebrated not one, but two academic achievements — graduating from Lake Technical College’s welding dual enrollment program last Friday, and preparing to graduate from Eustis High School this Friday.
The students — Henry Sims, William McLaughlin, Braden Webb, and Joshua Stanaland — have exemplified what it takes to be dual enrolled and have shown poise throughout their academic journey, beginning together years ago at Seminole Springs Elementary and now reaching the pinnacle of graduation.
Under the expert guidance of Lake Tech welding instructors John, Tyler, and Chase, the students completed the rigorous technical program while balancing their high school responsibilities. Their instructors, described as dedicated and instrumental, played a vital role in shaping these future professionals. These young men are not only skilled welders, they are leaders in the making.
As they cross the stage at Eustis High School this Friday, their futures remain unwritten but full of promise. Lake Technical College has provided a fantastic program for so many students in our area to further their education and graduate and enter the workforce right out of high school. Lake Tech has even been a benefit to my own family. My wife and her brother are both graduates of the Lake Tech program and it’s provided much opportunity.
While duel enrollment is not for every child, for those that can, this is an amazing program which local students can take full advantage of. Congratulations to Henry, William, Braden and Joshua along with all local graduates that graduated or are about to graduate! You Did It!!
