Hob Nob Results Are In! Find Out Who’s Leading Lake County Polls.
On Monday, The South Lake Chamber of Commerce, presented by Walt Disney World Resorts, hosted a Hob Nob event in Clermont. Held at the Clermont Performing Arts Center, the event attracted 700 attendees who had the opportunity to meet 30 candidates. The evening featured live interviews and concluded with a Straw Poll sponsored by Headquarter Honda, with 403 ballots cast.
“These events are so important for the community to meet candidates face to face and learn how they plan to represent the public office. Our elected officials are the public’s voice, and we must ensure they represent the community’s views at large,” said Daniel Whitehouse of Whitehouse & Cooper, PLLC, and the 2024 Chair of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee.
