IMS Team Begins Road Survey in Eustis Using Non-Invasive Technology

Beginning this week, the Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) team will begin surveying road conditions throughout the City of Eustis as part of a citywide pavement assessment effort.
To complete the survey, IMS will utilize advanced, non-invasive technology, the IrisPro Pave and the Fast Falling Weight Deflectometer (Fast FWD) to evaluate the structural integrity and surface condition of local streets. These tools allow for accurate assessments without any damage to the roadway.
According to the city of Eustis, the equipment will travel along city streets alongside regular traffic and will not cause any disruption or road closures.
The data collected will help identify areas in need of maintenance or rehabilitation, ensuring Eustis roads remain safe and reliable for residents.
Do you know areas in Eustis that need resurfacing? Let us know in the comments below.
