Lake Minneola High Senior Sherman Vannoy Killed In Fatal Early Morning Crash
From Lake Minneola High – This was a very difficult day for us at Lake County Schools. One of our school buses was involved in a tragic, fatal accident at the enterence of Lake Minneola High School this morning. Sherman Vannoy, a 17-year-old male senior at LMHS passed away from his injuries. We are in touch with the family and are offering our support. and we have grief counselors on campus this week for any students or faculty, who may need their services.
The accident involved a 78-year-old bus driver who stayed at the scene of the crash and was talking with FHP and local police officers. The investigation is still ongoing and we will update when we have further information.
