Lake Wales Senior Softball Player Jamie Sepsick Signs Commitment to State College of Florida
LAKE WALES, Fla. — Lake Wales High School standout Jamie Sepsick has officially signed her commitment to play softball and continue her education at the State College of Florida in Bradenton. The senior infielder made her announcement on Monday, surrounded by family, friends, and teammates at the school’s gymnasium.
Sepsick’s decision comes on the heels of a stellar junior season where she proved to be a key contributor for the Highlanders. Batting .348, she racked up 32 hits, 27 RBIs, and crossed home plate 15 times. Known for her consistent contact at the plate and clutch performances in critical moments, Sepsick has established herself as a reliable presence in the lineup.
“I would like to thank my mom, dad, and brother for being so supportive along the way. I woudl like to thank my travel ball coaches, Coach Lou and Coach Joe, for making me a better ball player and person. I would like to thank all my teammates along the way for making me love the sport even more. I’d also like to thank my coaches and teammates at Lake Wales High School. Looking forward to this new chapter. Go Manatees!” said Jamie.
Sepsick joins a rising program at SCF, where she will have the opportunity to compete at the NJCAA level while pursuing her academic goals.
As Sepsick prepares for her senior season, she’s focused on finishing her high school career strong. We are very excited for her! Congratulations!
