Leesburg Football’s Cedric Conner Signs Commitment Letter!
Cedric Conner Is Headed To Culver-Stockton College!
Congratulations to Leesburg High Schools Cedric Conner who has committed to play football for Culver-Stockton College in Missouri! Conner was surrounded by teammates, coaches and family as he signed his letter of intent to join the Wildcats!
Conner is 6”2 271lbs and played tackle and defensive end for The Yellow Jackets. His massive frame made him a challenging opponent for opposing offenses to handle. He was one of the leading Yellow Jacket defenders in sacks and tackles this season.
Although it wasn’t the season The Yellow Jackets wanted, last year Conner was a bright spot and excelled at the positions he played. He should certainly fit right in with The Wildcats who are a member of the NAIA. Culver-Stockton is a private college founded in 1853 and is located in Canton, Missouri.
We are very excited for Conner as he begins the next chapter of his athletic career and the next endeavor of his academic career. Former alumni of The Wildcats include Mike Bloomgren who coaches for Rice University along with former NFL Player Bob Handren, and John Kaiser who played in the Arena Football League, XFL, NFL and CFL.
Conner will be sorely missed in Leesburg. Exciting times lie ahead for the football program and we want to sincerely congratulate Conner, his teammates, family and coaches for taking this step in his life.
