Leesburg High Competitive Cheerleaders Perform at Auburn Club’s 50th Anniversary Celebration
Leesburg, Fla. — The Leesburg High School Competitive Cheerleaders brought their dynamic energy to the Orlando Auburn Club’s 50th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the University Club of Winter Park.
The milestone event, honoring five decades of Auburn pride, featured a standout performance by the LHS cheerleading squad, led by Head Coach Rosalyn Castile. An Auburn University alumna and former Tigerette, Castile added a personal touch to the celebration by designing custom bows in Auburn’s iconic old navy and burnt orange, adorned with the phrase “War Eagle.”
The cheerleaders dazzled the audience with a spirited routine, culminating in a formation that spelled out “Auburn,”. Their vibrant performance embodied a blend of school pride and athleticism. Everyone had a great time.
“This was a fantastic opportunity for our team to perform at such a prestigious event,” Castile said. “We’re proud to represent Leesburg High School and bring a little Jacket spirit to this celebration.”
The opportunity for the Leesburg cheerleaders to participate was coordinated by Adam Bates of Vertical Raise, who also serves as the venue coordinator for the Orlando Auburn Club. Bates played a key role in securing this special platform for the team to showcase their talents.
The Leesburg High School Competitive Cheer team continues to perform at a high level and get it done in the classroom. It was great to see these young ladies represent Lake County and Leesburg High! Way to go Leesburg Cheer!
