Legends Cafe in Fruitland Park Has Moved To A New Location
Legends Cafe in Fruitland Park has moved. The location moved a few weeks ago across the street to Fruitland Park Plaza. Legends Cafe became an almost iconic looking location with it’s unique design right off of Highway 27/441. The rotundra looking building that used to house Legends Cafe became synonymous with good wings, pizza, beer, karaoke nights and was just a good place to kick back and relax with family and friends.
Fortunately, while the old Legends Cafe sits with a sign out front signifying the move, the business is fully open and ready to serve customers across the street in the Fruitland Park Plaza. The old location closed its doors for the final time on Sunday, December 10. The old establishment looked like it belonged on a golf course and resembled a clubhouse of sorts. It was truly a unique location for a restaurant and the time’s I had the opportunity to eat there it was always a positive experience.
The new location is located in an easy to access building right in Fruitland Park Plaza. The building has a much better parking situation than the previous location. The business is now much easier to access for handicap. The handicap ramp is located right next to the front doors at the new location. The previous location, as you can see above, had a rather odd looking ramp up to the entry way. The old building was located on a hill as well so this new location will be a better situation, especially for the elderly.
Fans of the previous location will be happy to know that this new location still offers up some of the best pizza, cold beer, and their famous chicken wings, which I would argue are some of the best in Lake County. The location offers bar top tables and regular seating, a really nice bar, modern flooring, plenty of televisions and is much brighter than the previous location. Everything about the place looks really nice.
We reached out to Legends Bar & Grill to find out why they moved but have not heard back. We wish Legends Bar & Grill the best of success at their new Fruitland Park Plaza location.
