Get ready to usher in the holiday season with a spectacular array of festive events that will light up the nights across Lake County. From enchanting parades to dazzling tree lighting ceremonies, these community celebrations promise to fill the air with the joy and spirit of the holidays. Gather your friends and family and enjoy the magical world of holiday lights and festivities.
Here’s a list of upcoming “Light Up” events that are sure to ignite your holiday spirit and create cherished memories.
- Date: Saturday, December 2
- Time: Festival opens at 1:00 PM, Parade at 6:00 PM
- Location: Towne Square, Leesburg
- Details: Festival features ice skating, live holiday music, vendors, food, and drinks. Meet the Grinch from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM and Santa from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. The Christmas Cinema Spectacular Parade starts at 6:00 PM on Main Street. Light-Up Venetian Gardens begins on Sunday, December 3, at 5:30 PM at Ski Beach with live music, food trucks, and more.

- Time: Event starts at 4:30 PM
- Location: 100 N Donnelly St, Mount Dora, FL
- Description: Experience the enchantment at Light Up Mount Dora! Save the date for November 25th and join us for a night filled with holiday magic throughout Mount Dora. The event includes a grand lighting ceremony, an aerial drone display, dazzling fireworks, live music, and delightful treats. Fruitland Park Hometown Christmas

- Location: 506 W. Berckman Street, Fruitland Park
- Description: Join us for the annual Hometown Christmas celebration in Fruitland Park! This festive event offers a delightful evening of seasonal merriment for the entire family. Enjoy local entertainment, FREE activities for kids including bounce houses, a live DJ, delicious food trucks, various vendors, and the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Claus on a fire truck. It’s a great way to embrace the holiday spirit!

- Location: Ferran Park, Eustis
- Details: Food and craft vendors, FREE pictures with Santa, and more. Schedule includes a Ceremonial Tree Lighting & Santa’s Arrival at 6:00 PM, performances by Lifepointe Church and Community Children’s Choir at 6:30 PM, Hollywood Holidays at 7:00 PM, and Win1Ministries in Downtown Pocket Park at 7:45 PM

- Time: Starts at 6:00 PM
- Location: 13251 Park Avenue, Astatula
- Details: The event, presented by the Town of Astatula, will be held on December 1st, starting at 6:00 PM. Activities include Santa escort, outdoor Christmas movie, bounce house, pictures with Santa, and hand-wrapped gifts for each child.
Light Up Clermont: Annual Tree Lighting
- Date: Friday, December 1
- Time: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM
- Location: Downtown Clermont, West Montrose Street, Clermont, FL 34711
- Details: Enjoy the enchantment and fun at Light Up Clermont with events for all ages, including the annual tree lighting ceremony and various activities on December 1, 2023, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

- Time: Starts at 6:00 PM
- Location: 17404 6th Street, Montverde
- Description: Join us for an enchanting evening of holiday celebration in Montverde. Enjoy a special screening of the Polar Express, indulge in free snacks and hot dogs, witness the dazzling tree lighting ceremony, and have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus himself. This festive event is perfect for the entire family.

- Description: Join us for the annual Four Corners Holiday Festival at the Cagan Crossings Community Library on Saturday, December 9th. This festive event offers a wide range of activities and fun for the whole family, including free photos with Santa from noon to 2:30 pm, Spirit Stables Pony Rides ($7 per ride), holiday music with DJ Eddy, craft vendors, food trucks, Kidszilla Kids Business Fair (where kids operate their own businesses), a free bounce house, train rides ($3 per ride), additional kids’ activities, and a cookies and milk station (free). Don’t miss out on this fantastic holiday celebration!

- Details: The parade starts at 5:30 PM on Ruby Street and ends at St. Clair Abrams Ave. Festivities from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Fireworks and all activities end at approximately 9:00 PM.
Groveland Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
- When: Friday, December 8
- Time: 5:00 PM. – 9:00 PM
- Where: Lake David Park – 450 S. Lake Ave, Groveland
- Details: Enjoy the Groveland Nature Program Informational Session from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will commence at 7:00 p.m.
