Local Singer Katie O Advances To Playoffs on NBC’s The Voice
Weirsdale, Fla. — Rising local singer Katie O is headed to the playoff rounds on NBC’s The Voice, earning a coveted spot after impressing the judges, including her coach, country music legend Reba McEntire. Katie’s journey on the show hit a high note when she performed McEntire’s own song, “Turn On The Radio,” an emotional and powerful moment that Katie describes as an “honor” and a testament to her hard work and dedication.
“Thank you so much, Reba, for believing in me!” Katie shared with fans. “I’m ecstatic to be heading to the playoff round. Working with Reba and guest coach Jennifer Hudson has been absolutely incredible, and I’ve gained so much knowledge along the way.”
In a bittersweet turn, Katie’s friends and fellow competitors, Frankie Torres and Kendall Eugene, didn’t make it past their knockout performances. Though viewers missed out on seeing their talents on TV, Katie encouraged her fans to check out their knockout performances, which are posted on their Instagram accounts.
Katie also took a moment to express gratitude for the opportunity, adding, “Thank you, Lord, for this journey and opportunity… GOD IS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!”
The Florida native now heads to the Voice playoffs, where she’ll take the stage once more in hopes of advancing further. Her journey has captured the hearts of everyone in the area who are eager to see what’s next for this talented vocalist. Good luck Katie O!
