Local Wildwood Barber Hayden Thomas: A Cut Above the Rest
In the heart of Wildwood, Florida, stands a young and ambitious barber, Hayden Thomas, known to his clients as Hayden Cutz. At just 19 years old, Hayden is making a name for himself with his dedication and unique approach to earning new business. During one afternoon, I spotted Hayden outside Cut Throat Barber Co. on North Main Street, holding a sign that read, “I want to be your barber.” This gesture spoke volumes about his commitment and instantly earned my respect.
Hard work is something I understand well. Before becoming a writer for Lake & Sumter Style Magazine, I was a pool salesman for Pinch A Penny Pool Patio and Spa in Lady Lake. During the pandemic, I had to take on various jobs, including delivering groceries through Instacart, delivering food through DoorDash and driving for Uber, to support my family.
Seeing someone like Hayden, willing to go the extra mile to earn business, deserves praise. Hayden is a licensed barber at Cut Throat Barber Co., one of the highest-rated barber shops in Wildwood. The shop, family-owned and operated by Ron DeMoss who is known in the community as “Ron The Barber” stands out for its diverse services catering to all hair textures, types, and styles. One of their unique offerings is the Hot Towel and Hot Lather Neck Shave, and for those of legal drinking age, they provide a complimentary shot of bourbon or beer. I don’t know of any other barber shop doing that which makes this truly unique.
Customer reviews highlight Hayden’s excellence. Austin Mcrea, a loyal client, shared, “I’ve been going to this barber now for a while. Hayden has been my barber every time, and he always does me right. I’ve gone to many different barbers in the area, and I am glad to say this barber shop is the very best! Thank you, Hayden! Highly recommend this barber shop.”
To Hayden, I say, keep up the hard work. For anyone seeking a barber shop that prides itself on being different, check out Cut Throat Barber Co. at 708 N. Main Street in Wildwood, Florida.
