Lucky U Cycles Hosts ‘Holding the Line’ Benefit for Lineman Families After Tragic Accident

In the wake of a heartbreaking electrical accident that claimed the life of a local lineman and critically injured two others, Lucky U Cycles in Wildwood is stepping up to support the affected families with a community benefit event next month.
The “Holding the Line Benefit” will be held on Saturday, September 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lucky U Cycles, drawing together friends, families, and supporters from across the region to honor and assist the crew members families and their loved ones.
The tragedy occurred on August 12, when a lineman crew working in Seminole, Florida. That crew was involved in a devastating electrical accident. Justin Bryan tragically lost his life in the incident, while two of his colleagues sustained critical injuries. All three were fathers, brothers and friends. These essential workers risk their lives daily to ensure the safety and reliability of power systems, especially during Florida’s active hurricane season.
“These men are more than just utility workers, they are heroes,” says event organizers. “This benefit is our way of showing gratitude and standing beside the families who are enduring an unimaginable loss.”
Lucky U Cycles is known for its strong ties to the biker, lineman and surrounding communities. Jeremy Coon, the owner of Lucky U Cycles, is encouraging people from all walks of life to attend, donate and spread the word. You can click here for the facebook event page.
