MOUNT DORA, Fla. — Nathan Roach, a standout quarterback for Mount Dora Christian Academy (MDCA), is set to continue his academic and athletic journey at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Over the past few seasons at MDCA, Roach demonstrated that he is one of the hardest working players in Lake County, amassing over 1,700 passing yards and accounting for 20 touchdowns in his high school career. His leadership played a crucial role in the Bulldogs’ offense including a win in the Sunshine State Athletic Association championship game in 2023.
Nathan is part of a talented family of triplets who have each excelled in their respective fields. His brother, Seth Roach, was also a key player for MDCA and will be continuing his football career at Furman University. Their sister, Gracelyn Roach, is pursuing her education at the University of Florida.

While Nathan will have a challenging path ahead at West Point, balancing the rigorous demands of military training and Division I athletics, he remains committed to both his academic and athletic aspirations. Roach has had a stellar academic career in High School. He has a 4.2 GPA. Nathan is exactly what the United States Military Academy looks for.
As he transitions to the next level, Roach joins a storied Army football program known for its tradition and grit. With his strong work ethic and competitive spirit, he will look to carve out a role for himself among the Black Knights. Seth intends to walk onto the football team his Freshman year.
