MOUNT DORA, Fla. — Mount Dora Christian Academy (MDCA) has announced the appointment of Tad Kirby as its new head track and field coach and secondary physical education teacher. Kirby joins MDCA from Wall High School in Wall, Texas, bringing with him a wealth of experience both as an athlete and a coach.
A native of Mason, Texas, Kirby competed as a four-year track athlete at Harding University, where he earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in strength and conditioning. Known for his dedication to fitness and a love for the outdoors, Kirby is enthusiastic about his new role at MDCA.
“I’m excited to bring what I know to MDCA and help these young men and women grow and develop, not only into better athletes but also into better men and women and Christians,” Kirby said.
At MDCA, Kirby aims to inspire student-athletes both on and off the track, emphasizing academic achievement, athletic excellence, and spiritual growth. His experience and passion for coaching are expected to elevate the school’s track and field program.
MDCA student-athletes are eager to welcome Coach Kirby and are looking forward to his leadership in the upcoming track and field season.
