Mission BBQ Opens In Clermont To Rave Reviews
CLERMONT, Fla. — Mission BBQ, a restaurant known for its patriotic theme and dedication to honoring local heroes, celebrated the grand opening of its newest location in Clermont on Monday. Located at 1225 East Highway 50, the establishment combines mouthwatering barbecue with a heartfelt mission to give back to the community.
Founded in 2011, Mission BBQ has built a reputation for serving authentic, smoked-to-perfection barbecue while honoring members of the armed forces, first responders, and local heroes. Every day at noon, the restaurant pauses to play the national anthem, a tradition that highlights its patriotic values.
The menu boasts a variety of smoked meats, including brisket, pulled pork, and ribs, as well as homestyle sides like mac and cheese, coleslaw, and baked beans. The restaurant also offers a selection of signature sauces inspired by regional barbecue styles.
Local resident Rebecca Carter, who attended the grand opening with her family, praised the restaurant’s community-oriented approach. “It’s more than just great food—it’s about honoring the people who make sacrifices for us every day.”
The Clermont location is open seven days a week and offers dine-in, carry-out, and catering options. For more information, visit Mission BBQ’s website.
