Mount Dora Babe Ruth 10U Legendz Softball Team Celebrate Perfect 12-0 Season
MOUNT DORA, Fla. — The Mount Dora Babe Ruth 10U Legendz Softball Team wrapped up a terrific season with an undefeated 12-0 record!
The Legendz, excelled both on and off the field this year. The players’ dedication to practice and their commitment to supporting each other contributed to an incredible winning streak that made their season one of the best in history.
The Mount Dora Babe Ruth leagues are so much more than just sports. Coach Camaron does an amazing job at teaching these young athletes how to win but to be, respectful young ladies who exemplify what it means to be team players. We are so proud of them and what they accomplished this season.
The season saw standout performances on both offensive and defensive plays, with the Legendz consistently dominating their competition. Many of these young ladies will be playing softball for local high schools in the coming years. There is a ton of talent coming up through the Mount Dora Babe Ruth and Buffalo Stampeders programs to name a few. That talent will no doubt continue to help at the high school levels. Two Lake County programs just won State Championships this year with Eustis High and Montverde Academy winning their first state championship in program history.
The future is bright for softball in Lake & Sumter County. We want to send a big congratulations to the 10U Legendz on a flawless season. Keep working hard and we will be seeing and writing about these young superstars in the years to come!
