Mount Dora High School’s Afrifa Amoah-Mensah has been named to the Florida FFA Association Area III Vice President!

Afrifa maintains an unweighted 4.2 GPA and is part of the football program at Mount Dora High. He is also a bowler and track & field athlete. This is a huge honor to have this young man represent the Florida FFA along with Mount Dora FFA at such a high level.

The Florida FFA is the state’s premier agricultural youth organization that prepares members for leadership and careers in the science, business, and technology of agriculture.

The FFA is an integral part of agricultural education by helping make classroom instructions come to life through realistic, hands-on applications. FFA members embrace concepts taught in agricultural classrooms nationwide, build valuable skills through hands-on experiential learning, and each year demonstrate their proficiencies in competitions that showcase real-world agricultural skills.

Mount Dora High School has produced great FFA talent over the years. We are so happy to see a Lake County student represented at this level. Congratulations to Afrifa Amoah-Mensah; we look forward to seeing what you do this year!
