Mount Dora Youth Cheer Teams To Compete In Mid-Florida Pop Warner Championships
Mount Dora, Fla. – Five cheerleading squads from the Mount Dora Youth Football and Cheer organization will take the stage this Saturday at the Mid-Florida Pop Warner Cheer Competition, held at the Silver Spurs Arena. The event, which showcases the talent and dedication of young athletes from across the region, promises to be an exciting day of competition.
The squads, representing Mount Dora in multiple divisions, have put in months of preparation, mastering complex routines and perfecting their team chemistry. According to Mount Dora Youth Football and Cheer President, Tawanta Mars, the athletes have displayed “incredible hard work, spirit, and teamwork” throughout the season, and this competition will be their moment to shine.
“We’re extremely proud of every one of these girls,” said Mars. “This is a fantastic opportunity for them to showcase their skills and represent our community. We know they’ll make us proud.”
The Mid-Florida Pop Warner Cheer Competition brings together some of the best youth cheer squads in the region, and the athletes from Mount Dora will be vying for top honors. The event is open to the public, and supporters from Mount Dora are encouraged to attend and cheer on the teams.
The competition marks a major milestone in the season for these young athletes, who hope to continue advancing toward regional and national competitions.

The Silver Spurs Arena is located in Kissimmee, and the competition is set to begin at 9 a.m.

Kyle Coppola was born in Newton, Massachusetts and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications from Curry College in 2016. After traveling to Florida on a family vacation, he decided he could not get enough of the warm weather and made the move from snowy Massachusetts to central Florida 8 years ago.
For the last decade Kyle has gained valuable experience in social media content creation, marketing and sales, writing, video production, sports announcing and even broadcasting for local radio stations, such as FM 102.9 in The Villages and FM 91.5 in Massachusetts. Every year he volunteers at The Villages Charter High School as a play-by-play sports announcer for the football games as well as a public address announcer for the basketball games, including the annual Battle at The Villages Tournament.
Outside the office Kyle is a husband and father to two beautiful girls along with their cat. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, travel, play golf and swim. He is also a huge sports junkie and even bigger motorsports fan and loves to attend racing events when he can.
