New Christmas Parade to Lead the Fun at Eustis Winter Fest

The City of Eustis will bring holiday cheer to Carver Park on Dec. 20 as Winter Fest returns for an evening of family fun, music and community spirit. The annual event runs from 6 to 9pm at 2214 East Bates Ave. and is free to attend.
Winter Fest will offer a hot chocolate bar, seasonal snacks and holiday crafts, along with a station where children can write letters to Santa. Families can enjoy outdoor games throughout the park as a DJ provides live music.
A new addition to this year’s celebration is the Christmas Parade, which begins at 6:15pm on Clifford Ave. The route will travel down Palmetto St., turn onto Bates Ave. and end at Carver Park. Marching bands, cheer squads and festive floats from local organizations and businesses will lead the procession before Santa arrives in the park to greet families.
Free photos with Santa will be available after the parade in the recreation room. Parents are encouraged to bring their own cameras for pictures.
Food trucks will be on site during the event with a variety of food and drinks available for purchase.
