EUSTIS, Fla. — One Thirteen Coffeehouse officially opened its doors this past weekend, inviting the community into a space that’s about more than just coffee—it’s about connection, comfort, and home.

Located at 113 N Bay Street in the heart of downtown Eustis, the new coffee shop is the vision of longtime Lake County residents Daniel and Rae Chimento. The couple, married for 25 years and proud parents and grandparents, say the coffeehouse is a reflection of their deep love for people and their faith.

“We built One Thirteen Coffeehouse on the values found in 1 Corinthians 13—love, kindness, and genuine connection,” said Rae Chimento. “It’s a space where everyone is welcome, where conversations flow, and where the community can truly come together.”

Daniel, a firefighter with 23 years of service, and Rae, a lifelong member of the Eustis community, describe the shop as an extension of their home. With cozy seating, warm décor, and the smell of fresh-brewed coffee in the air, the café offers more than caffeine—it offers a sense of belonging.

The grand opening was celebrated with family, friends, and a steady flow of new patrons eager to try the house brews and homemade pastries. Laughter, conversation, and heartfelt hugs filled the space as One Thirteen made its official debut.

“This isn’t just a place to grab a cup of coffee,” said Daniel. “It’s a place to slow down, connect with others, and be part of something meaningful.”

Serving up handcrafted drinks and sweet treats made with love, One Thirteen Coffeehouse hopes to become a staple in the Eustis community. Be sure to come out and support this brand new local business. Congratulations to both Daniel and Rae!

As the Chimentos put it: this is just the beginning of something beautiful.
