TAVARES, Fla. — Coffee enthusiasts in Tavares will soon have a new destination to enjoy their favorite lattes and frappuccinos as Starbucks prepares to open a new location at 1990 State Road 19. The store, conveniently located in front of Publix, is expected to become a popular stop for residents.

Construction of the coffeehouse is underway, managed by Elfrink Custom Construction, Inc. Grading of the land has finished and the first construction was beginning at the property yesterday.

Local residents have expressed enthusiasm about the addition, citing the convenience of having the global coffee chain close to home. “It’s great to finally have a Starbucks here in Tavares,” said resident Jenna Martin. “It’s going to be the perfect place to grab coffee before work or meet up with friends.”
