Patients rarely get excited about surgery, but unrelenting pain and physical limitations drive many people to choose this option.

At Glover Chiropractic in Leesburg, Dr. Jeffrey Glover’s main goals are relieving pain and helping people avoid surgery and reliance on medication. Using the most advanced chiropractic techniques and tools, this compassionate doctor helps a majority of patients avoid surgical procedures.

“You want to do everything you can conservatively before doing surgery,” says Glover. “Yes, surgery is common today, but there are always risks. Our goal is to see someone before they opt for surgery. We can often fix the problem if we get to them soon enough.”

He regularly treats patients with bulging, herniated, and degenerative discs, and spinal stenosis.

“All of these conditions deal with pinched nerves, which is why chiropractic helps,” Glover says. “Our spinal decompression therapy can keep most people out of surgery and can give them their lives back to do the activities they love. It’s not a one-time magical fix; you need a series of treatments, which is tailored to the individual.”

Glover explains that decompression therapy functions as a form of traction.

“Think of a herniated disc as a jelly donut with the jelly squirted out,” he says. “Decompression therapy allows that lubricant to get pulled back into the disc. Once you take pressure off the nerve, this relieves the pain.”

After their main problem is resolved, many clients just come in for once-a-month maintenance treatments.

Another effective, non-invasive option is deep tissue laser therapy, which energizes damaged cells and increases circulation, triggering a cascade of healing responses. Treatment takes only minutes but delivers long-lasting results.

“Laser therapy is very good at helping soft tissues heal, including disc injuries,” says Glover. “Even if someone has had spinal fusion, laser therapy can knock out inflammation around the irritated nerves, which relieves pain.”

A Lake County native, Dr. Glover opened Glover Chiropractic in 2012. The practice celebrated its 13th anniversary in November 2025.

“This is my hometown; I work here, live here and my kids go to school here. I’m very invested and active in the community,” he says.

If back or neck pain is restricting your lifestyle, call the clinic today to schedule your appointment. Dr. Glover will perform an exam and explain treatment options to get you on the road to improved health.
