At 62, Charlene Jenkins has built her career around two priorities: faith and helping others prepare for the future.

As CEO of the faith-based Jenkins Wealth & Retirement Solutions, Charlene is a Registered Financial Consultant, Certified Estate Planner and licensed life, annuity and health agent. Her work allows her to help clients pursue greater financial security as they plan for retirement.

“I am passionate about my faith in God and assisting others to secure their finances so that they have a stress-free retirement,” Charlene says.

While she is proud of her professional work, Charlene’s two daughters and her 4 grandbabies are her heart.

“I’m proud of my daughters who have always been there to help me in whatever I do. They are my greatest accomplishments,” she says.

Charlene also remains actively involved throughout the Leesburg community. She serves as a board member, trustee and ambassador for the Leesburg Chamber. She is also a board member of the Booby Trap Foundation, a nonprofit organization that assists women and men affected by various forms of cancer, and she is a member of The Rock Church in Leesburg.

In whatever capacity, faith has been the guiding force behind Charlene’s career, community involvement and leadership.

“God has been my leader all throughout my life. The Bible has had the greatest influence in my life,” she says.

With that, Charlene encourages the next generation of professionals and community leaders to put their faith first while pursuing the work and causes that matter most to them.

“Always keep God your first priority. Follow your passions, get involved in your community, volunteer for things you love to do, don’t let the fear of something keep you from reaching your dreams,” Charlene says.

She also offers one practical piece of advice for people of every age: “It’s never too early or too late to start saving for your retirement!”
