At 46, Omar Contreras has built Omar’s Painting Inc. into more than a painting business. As its owner-operator, he takes pride in helping clients transform their homes and properties while bringing their ideas to life.

“We love to see our clients happiness and we feel proud to be part of their journey,” Omar says.

His own story began in Mexico. He came to the United States 27 years ago and credits his faith, along with the people who supported him, for helping him establish a successful business and create opportunities to serve others.

“God blessed me with so many people surrounding my path,” he says. “He has also guided me through this journey and blessed me with the heart to be a blessing to others through the painting business.”

Through Omar’s Painting, he and his team have made an impact across Central Florida by putting their skills to work for their customers.

“We make an impact in central Florida with our work by giving all we have in our abilities to paint and by helping our clients’ dreams become reality,” Omar says.

His greatest source of pride, however, is his family, particularly his sons, Omar Jr. and Levi. He is grateful for the opportunity to be their father and encourage them to pursue their goals.

“I thank God every day for giving me the opportunity to be their father and teach them to never give up on theirs dreams,” he says.

Faith remains the guiding force in Omar’s life, leadership and work. He gives God credit for his success and advises future professionals and community leaders to hold firmly to their beliefs.

“Never give up on your faith and always trust in God,” Omar says. “He will always guide us through everything we do and that’s what makes you successful.”
