My legacy: I hope to leave behind informed patriotism, a commitment to protecting “Real Florida” and a strong family legacy rooted in service.
Fun fact: I have celebrated my birthday on five different continents.
Gavin Rollins built a career on a deep appreciation for the community he calls home.
As a litigation attorney with Sabatini Law Firm, an Army intelligence officer with the Florida Army National Guard and a Lake County Water Authority trustee, he manages a professional life woven through public service, military leadership and a commitment to preserving Florida’s natural resources.
A defining chapter in Gavin’s life came during his deployment in the Horn of Africa, where he served as the senior intelligence officer for Task Force Hurricane. Supporting counterterrorism operations and training partner nation militaries broadened his understanding of leadership and global responsibility.
“Those experiences shaped how I lead and reinforced what truly matters,” he says.
Life has thrown its share of challenges at him, from multiple deployments to losing friends and family. Teaching in the classroom, earning a master’s degree in education and later returning to law school taught him the same lesson in different ways — life is short, family comes first and meaningful leadership requires passion and purpose.
Equal parts of drive and curiosity keep him moving each day. He thrives on advocating for clients, stepping up for the community and learning new things at every opportunity.
Gavin hopes that people remember his career with integrity above all else.
“I want to be known as someone who served with honor, whether in the courtroom, the classroom or the community,” he says.
