Occupation: Small Business Advocate and Event Coordinator for Orange Blossom Market Company

What I do: My priority at OBMco is to provide educational resources for its members. We hold monthly networking meetings in Leesburg, Oakland and Avalon Park. A few examples of our topics include making your elevator speech, creating social media content and other relevant subjects for small business owners. I spend a lot of time preparing these meetings and bringing in experts to share their knowledge.

My inspiration: In 2015, I signed up for a workshop with my cousin to learn how to make paper flowers. I knew before the class was over that I wanted a career like the host/teacher so I could share my skills while connecting with people. 

Why it’s my passion: I love to problem-solve and I always get to celebrate wins and milestones, not just mine, but for members of OBMco.

Notable achievement: In 2023, I was a finalist for the Community Impact Leader Award for the Women on the Rise organization in Orlando.

Words of wisdom: Believe in yourself and fiercely believe in your abilities to be deserving of great things.

When I’m not solving problems: I love theme parks! We spend most of our free time at Disney and Universal.

Life after 40: It would be an honor to continue serving Lake County in my future. I hope to see a full team working together to help small businesses continue to flourish!
