Occupation: CFO of CSL Construction, Minneola

What I do: I’m in charge of all finances and day-to-day operations

The beginning: My husband Corey and I started doing kitchen and bath remodels and then got into water/fire/mold damage restoration. We met in 2010 when he started the business.

Why it’s my passion: I love being able to communicate with homeowners and help them put their homes back together after a big loss. We also advocate for the homeowner and help with the insurance carrier and mortgage company.

Why I’m proud: To own and operate a business with my husband and building it to be one of the most successful small family-owned businesses in Lake County makes me very proud. 

 Words of wisdom: Pursue your passion and create a ‘roadmap,’ to stay focused. Take risks and step out of your comfort zone. Lastly, surround yourself with like-minded people.

Outside the office: There isn’t much spare time, but Corey and I love to travel with our four kids. I’m Puerto Rican and take a lot of pride in cooking homemade meals for my family every night of the week except Friday, when I don’t cook.
