Clermont Police Citizen’s Academy Returns in August
Open to Clermont residents, ages 18 to 1000! Learn about police work in a fun way at the 2024 Clermont Police Citizen’s Academy.
Strap in for an exciting 11-week academy aimed at providing Clermont residents with a glimpse of what police officers do on a daily basis.
This event will take place at the Clermont Police Department Headquarters, located at 3600 S. Highway 27, Clermont, FL 34711.
Classes will be every Thursday evening beginning August 8th and continuing weekly through October 17th, 2024.
Class time will be from 6 pm – 8 pm.

Originally from the small town of Berryville, Arkansas, Cindy has become a multimedia specialist in journalism, photography, videography, and video editing. She has a B.S. in Communications from the University of Central Arkansas and produces Style Magazine's Sports Hub Podcast and the Healthy Living Podcast. She also produces for Beacon College’s Telly Award-winning PBS show, “A World of Difference.” When she isn’t working, Cindy loves traveling the National Parks with her husband , Ryan, and son, David, photographing wildlife.
