Hope Coalition’s Annual Back To School Bash In Leesburg Was A Huge Success

The Hope Coalition’s annual Back To School Bash was a huge success, thanks to the incredible support of the Leesburg community! As we gear up for the new school year, this event ensured that area students had the tools they need to succeed.

This year’s Bash featured an innovative layout, with booths arranged to form “a pathway of hope” for students, guiding them from elementary school through middle and high school, and eventually showcasing college options.

(Lisa Humphreys was giving out free hugs to local students who received new backpacks and supplies for the upcoming school year.)

Students and their families walked through the pathway, collecting essential school supplies, from backpacks and notebooks to pencils and calculators. Along the way, they also received valuable information about academic resources, extracurricular activities, and future opportunities. The event provided not only tangible tools but also inspiration and encouragement for students to pursue their dreams.

(Leesburg commissioner Alan Reisman, Allyson Berry along with Sandy Wells Moore and Principal Michael Randolph attended the event.)

Lisa Humphreys, who works for Kid City Learning Center in Leesburg, expressed her gratitude, saying, “The Hope Coalition’s annual Back To School Bash was a huge success, thanks to your incredible support! As we gear up for the new school year, we made sure Leesburg area students had the tools they need to succeed.”

The success of the Back To School Bash was made possible by the generosity of the community. A big thank you goes out to everyone who donated school supplies, funds, and their time to volunteer. Your contributions have ensured that every child in Leesburg starts the school year with confidence and hope.

From the youngest kindergarteners to high school seniors preparing for graduation and beyond, the Back To School Bash has made a significant impact. Together, everyone is making a difference in our community, one student at a time and that is something to celebrate.

We are looking forward to a terrific 2024/25 school year!
