Massive Free Women’s Clothing Giveaway Happening Monday, Tuesday in Leesburg
Good News Church of Central Florida is partnering with Compassion Coalition, the Leesburg Food Bank, and the Salvation Army to host a massive free clothing giveaway. This event, aimed at blessing the community, will take place on Monday and Tuesday from 11 am to 4 pm at the Salvation Army in Leesburg.
The giveaway will provide beautiful, name-brand women’s clothing to anyone in need. With the cost of living rising, this initiative is designed to offer support to those who may be struggling to afford essential items.
“We received 18,000 pounds of clothing, valued at around $700,000,” Pastor Mark Schilling of Good News Church says. “We’re working with the Salvation Army, Leesburg Food Bank, and a bunch of school organizations to bless our community.”
The new clothing includes everything from underwear and bathing suits, to shirts, jeans and businesswear. In addition to clothing, the partnership received four pallets of diapers for distribution through the Leesburg Food Bank.
Pastor Mark Schilling encourages everyone in need to simply “just show up,” no questions asked. The doors will be open at the Salvation Army in Leesburg on both days, with volunteers ready to assist and distribute the clothing to all who attend.
