PUPPY LOVE

The fourth annual Pups in the Park bounced into Lake Hiawatha Preserve in Clermont on March 16 with doggies from all over South Lake enjoying a morning of tail-wagging fun. “Puppuccino” with a cop, agility course, pup-friendly crafts and doggie gourmet delights had canines and their best friends smiling. Sponsors included Insight, OCR Foundation and Orlando Health/South Lake Hospital. Judges for the costume contest were Clermont Mayor Tim Murry, Meghan Brummert of Orlando Health and Pat Caracciolo, owner of Pat the Dog Vacation Resort in Groveland. Most creative costume was Chelsea the Aussie Poodle dressed as a prom queen. Overall winner was Jiko, the Black Labrador, dressed as a groom.
