(Rabinowitz captured first place in both the 100-meter backstroke and 50-meter backstroke at the Florida Championships.)
In addition to his victories, Rabinowitz secured top-five finishes in four other events. Rabinowitz is one of the area’s top up and coming swimmers to keep our eyes on the next few years. Representing the Windermere Lakers, he continues to make waves not just in the water but out of the water as well.
Beyond the pool, Rabinowitz excels academically with a 4.0 GPA and is a a member of the prestigious Eagle Honor Society. It’s always great to see a young athlete just as committed to school work as they are athletics and Rabinowitz fits the mold of what a student-athlete can and should be.
With such an outstanding showing at the state level, Rabinowitz is poised for even greater success in the coming season. Overall aquatic sports are on the rise in Lake County. We not only have swimming as popular as it has ever been but water polo is about to make its debut as a high school sport in Lake County. Eli Rabinowitz is one name you will want to keep your eye on in the coming years. Way to go!
