Hurt so Good

The 10th annual Burn in the Burg Chili Cook-Off took place on November 2 in Historic Downtown Leesburg. People’s Choice winners included: 1st place–Northgate Animal Clinic, 2nd place–Leesburg Police Department, 3rd place–Gator Harley-Davidson. The Judge’s Choice award went to United Southern Bank, while Habitat for Humanity took home the prize for Best Decorated Booth. Special thanks to the “Some Like It Hot” sponsors, Preferred Insurance and Vermeer and the “Fire Burning” sponsor, United Southern Bank. Media sponsors LakeFront TV and New Paradigm were also on-site for the festivities. Hundreds of chili lovers from across Lake County and beyond enjoyed a day filled with great food and live music by Naughty Naughty.
