Charm Meets Change

The City of Groveland invited its wonderful community to the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Elese Tomlin Empowerment Center in January. Highlights included speeches from Mayor Keith Keogh, Livewell Foundation of South Lake Executive Director Donna Kirtland and Anointed Community Services International CEO Dr. Linda Cowels. There was also a dedication to Elese Tomlin’s family, a violin performance by Andres Villa and guided tours of the new facility. The center—funded by the Live Well Foundation in collaboration with Anointed Community Services International and help from the city—will offer educational and vocational programs.
