AdventHealth Waterman Welcomes First Baby Born in 2026

The start of 2026 brought a moment of celebration at AdventHealth Waterman, where their first baby of the new year was born in the early hours of New Year’s Day.
Baby boy Hayden Shane Overfield was born at 1:18 a.m. to parents Nichole and James Overfield of Grand Island. Hayden weighed 5 pounds, 2 ounces and measured 18.5 inches long.
Hospital staff marked the milestone with the family, celebrating a joyful beginning to the new year and a meaningful first arrival for Lake County in 2026.
