Clermont Mayor Tim Murry invites the community to a monthly lunch.

Lunches will be held at noon the first Monday of each month at varying locations.

The first Lunch with the Mayor will be at noon Mon., Aug. 2 at Outback Steakhouse, 1625 E. State Road 50 in Clermont.

“Every month, I encourage Clermont’s citizens to join me for a casual meal and conversation,” Mayor Murry says. “I want our residents to know that I am accessible. I am here to listen to their concerns and answer any questions they may have.”

Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP directly to the restaurant at 352-243- 0036. Attendees will be expected to pay their own way.

Mayor Murry, a Clermont native, took office in 2020. Clermont’s mayor and council members serve two-year terms at large, with the mayor occupying Seat 3.

Previously, Mayor Murry served on the City of Clermont’s Planning and Zoning and Code Enforcement boards. He also has held leadership positions with several community groups.
