Sprouts Farmers Market Opening Weekend Schedule
Sprouts Farmers Market is in the final stages of construction. The farmers market is located at the intersection of Buena Vista and Highway 466 in The Villages. Sprouts plans to open its doors on March 17th at 7am. On this day Villagers and the local community are welcomed to attend the grand opening! The Schedule has been released which you will find below. Each day offers a great experience of Free Food Tastings, Kids events, and music! Check out the schedule below!
Friday, March 17
- 6:45am: Ribbon-cutting
- 7am: Doors open. First 200 in-store shoppers receive a FREE reusable bag filled with samples.*
- 7am–4pm: Vendor Village–taste and experience new & exciting brands in-store while you shop!*
- 7am–6pm: Pop-up Party! Join us out front for FREE samples, fruit school, face painting, fruit carvings, “Guess the Weight” contest and FREE recipes!
Saturday, March 18
- 7am: Doors open. First 200 in-store shoppers receive a FREE reusable bag filled with samples.*

What To Expect Inside?
Lots and lots of fresh produce and healthy items. This is something offered at Publix and Fresh Market but not to the extent that Sprouts will be. As you walk into the store you will be instantly drawn to the aromas of freshness that will be unlike anything currently offered. The store will have a modern feel to it and should also drive some traffic from the surrounding communities of families in Oxford, Wildwood, Lady Lake, Summerfield and more.

This is going to be a fantastic opening weekend! Sprouts will be a welcomed edition to our community as the organic food market is vastly underserved. The new location is conveniently located at the intersection of Buena Vista Boulevard and Highway 466. We look forward to seeing what the location offers and we hope for a much more successful opening year than Earth Fare which opened to much fanfare but closed within a year of opening! Kyle Coppola
Kyle Coppola was born in Newton, Massachusetts and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications from Curry College in 2016. After traveling to Florida on a family vacation, he decided he could not get enough of the warm weather and made the move from snowy Massachusetts to central Florida 8 years ago.
For the last decade Kyle has gained valuable experience in social media content creation, marketing and sales, writing, video production, sports announcing and even broadcasting for local radio stations, such as FM 102.9 in The Villages and FM 91.5 in Massachusetts. Every year he volunteers at The Villages Charter High School as a play-by-play sports announcer for the football games as well as a public address announcer for the basketball games, including the annual Battle at The Villages Tournament.
Outside the office Kyle is a husband and father to two beautiful girls along with their cat. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, travel, play golf and swim. He is also a huge sports junkie and even bigger motorsports fan and loves to attend racing events when he can.
