Lady Lake Police Attempt To Identify Armed Gas Station Robbery Suspect

LADY LAKE – On Sunday, December 10, Lady Lake Police officers responded to an armed robbery at the Circle K/Sunoco gas station at 413 S U.S. Highway 27/441 in Lady Lake. The incident took place at approximately 9:52 pm. Surveillance footage from the scene revealed a suspect entering the premises, brandishing a lighter brown semi-automatic handgun from the right side of his hoodie pocket. The assailant targeted the store clerk, demanding the contents of

the register. The suspect exited the store through the south doors at approximately 9:53 pm.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’8” to 6’ tall, Black male with a slender build. He was wearing a darker colored hoodie featuring a prominent “Reebok” logo on the front, dark pants with a lighter colored stripe down both sides, a lighter colored ski mask, and dark gloves.The Lady Lake Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying the suspect or providing any information related to the case. It is important to note, the Lady Lake Police Department is now able to capture not only police point-of-view video evidence thanks to the Department’s new Axon body cameras, approved by the Town Commission during the budget process, but detectives can also quickly and easily download surveillance video, allowing for better case management and evidence sharing.
