Connie Mahan Real Estate Group is celebrating their second Rookie of the Year achievement.

“I am so incredibly proud to announce that this year’s Rookie of the Year for the Lake and Sumter Counties Realtors Association is none other than our Beau Stevenson,” Connie says.

Freshly licensed in January 2023, Beau didn’t step foot into real estate until March of 2023, and it was all history from there. A third generation Sumter County native, Beau was no stranger to the area, the people, and how to do business. Owning his own business for almost a decade, Beau understands that although success and customer satisfaction may not always be easy, it’s simple. 

“Clear communications, honest conversations, and a genuine care for what folks want are the foundation of my success,” Beau says. “People know I’m the guy. I’m the guy they call if they need things, and now I’m the guy they call in real estate.”

Connie Mahan, broker-owner and one of Beau’s biggest fans, says there was no doubt. 

“I was 100% certain that Beau had all of the components necessary to be one of the best, and he has what it takes to be legendary,” she says. “He is ethical, creative, kind but firm, and most importantly, he understands this is a lifelong game, not a sprint. I’ve been a Beau fan since long before he became a Realtor.”

Incredibly active in his community, Beau was a vital part of the Bushnell Elementary PTO and most notably has been a pillar to the girls softball league for years. He is active in local fundraising and company-sponsored events and can be seen lending a hand almost anywhere. 

Beau finds incredible support in his wife, Amanda Stevenson, his Gema (grandmother), and his two children, Parker and Waylon.

“I am shocked, blessed, emotional, and more driven than ever to do the best I can for my customers and my community and am honored to carry this title forward,” Beau says.

As only the third Rookie of the Year to come out of the Sumter side of Lake and Sumter Counties Realtors Association, Beau is in great company. It’s notable to mention that his Broker, Connie Mahan, was the first-ever Sumter County recipient of the association’s recognition in 2002.
