Born in Miami, Zorayda Gallardo has roots in both the Sunshine State and Nicaragua.

She was just 6 when her parents moved the family to their native Nicaragua.

“I lived there for 10 years and moved back to Florida when I was 16. I’ve been here ever since,” she says.

Those years in Central America were a powerful influence. Her outgoing personality and passion for helping others made real estate the best career choice.

Today, Zorayda is the owner/broker of her own real estate business with offices and teams of experienced agents in Leesburg and Managua, Nicaragua. Siga International Real Estate offers residential, land, and investment properties.

A member of the National Association of REALTORS®  since 2014, Zorayda has worked hard to earn multiple designations, including that of Certified International Properties Specialist (CIPS).

She routinely works with clients who want to buy properties outside the U.S. as investments.

The fact that Zorayda has dual citizenship and is bi-lingual gives her a definite advantage when working with Central and South American clients.

Her Florida clients also appreciate that she speaks Spanish.

This increases their comfort level, especially when dealing with complex transactions.

“I like to inform clients and guide them to make the process easier so they can accomplish their goals, whether that’s selling, buying their first-time home, or investing in international properties,” says Zorayda. 

For clients who are selling, Zorayda provides practical input on every aspect of the process, including realistic pricing to promote timely sales. 

She is the current representative of Nicaragua for CILA Mujeres, an organization for women in real estate in South and Central America. CILA Mujeres works to connect global real estate institutions and empowers women in the industry by maximizing their opportunities.

“Sixty-six percent of all REALTORS® are female, up from 65 percent last year,” says Zorayda, adding that meeting clients’ needs is the best part of her job.

Zorayda and her husband, Jose, are the proud parents of two children.

She finds real estate to be the ideal career, as she can positively impact her clients’ lives, as well as focus on her family.

Active in her community, she is a member of the Leesburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the Global Council in Orlando.
