Addie Owens

Serving Her Community in Multiple Facets

Once you meet Addie Owens, it’s easy to understand why she was recently awarded State Mentor of the Year by the Women’s Council of Realtors®.

Addie is not content to settle for the status quo. Her goal in life is to make a difference for good.

She’s done just that as CEO and principal broker of Touchstone Real Estate Group, Inc. (TREG), as an instructor, public speaker, and founder of Touchstone Community First Foundation.

With almost two decades of experience in real estate, Addie specializes in residential listings. TREG has a full slate of licensed agents ready to help buyers and sellers accomplish their goals.

“Our mission at the real estate brokerage is to help build a legacy,” says Addie, who has lived in the tri-county area for 25 years. “We get to help people realize equity in homes they’ve already purchased and build wealth. I’m most proud of the fact that we’ve helped many people build legacies in their homes and
their communities.”

In 2019, she launched Touchstone Real Estate Schools, which helps educate fellow Realtors® across the country. Addie’s in-depth understanding of the industry, her successful background in appraisals and her innate skills as an instructor and public speaker make her a dynamic communicator.

Dedicated to helping her community, Addie founded Touchstone Community First Foundation to provide monetary support for local non-profit organizations that benefit youth programs and area residents whose housing has been impacted by disasters.

She serves in numerous volunteer positions and is actively involved in various community initiatives in Mount Dora and Central Florida.

Addie Owens is the one people call when they need help improving their lives. She’s determined to make a meaningful impact–whether it’s related to housing, education, or organizational development.

In 2020, she served as president of the Realtors® Association of Lake and Sumter Counties.

“Despite that treacherous year, we didn’t just keep the ship above water; we actually accelerated through that storm,” says Addie of the challenging first year of the pandemic.

Addie is married with two adult children and is a proud Blue Star Mom.

Now she is running for Florida State House.

“I’ve got the heart of a servant and I believe we need more of that. When I go to Tallahassee, I’m not going by myself. I’m taking all of Lake County with me,” says Addie. “I’ll never forget where I came from.”
