Nicole Thornton, the owner of AfterShock, leads a team with over 50 years of combined industry experience that is dedicated to providing unparalleled water, mold and fire mitigation services since 2015.

“Our goal on every loss is to ensure homeowners’ needs are met and that their homes are restored swiftly and thoroughly,” says Nicole. “We aim to educate homeowners on the claims process and ensure they recover their lossess.”

What sets AfterShock apart is their unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. Unlike other companies, if an insurance claim is denied, AfterShock shoulders the loss without pursuing the homeowner for payment. “If I take the job, it’s my responsibility to make sure the homeowner is compensated,” Nicole says.

Beyond their exceptional service, AfterShock is a family-owned and operated business based in Tavares, Florida where Nicole was born and raised. After High School, Nicole moved to California with family to continue her education and received a bachelor’s degree. In her free time, Nicole enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. For the last two years, Nicole has been the guardian to four children, ages 5 to 12. Nicole and the children enjoy swimming, boating and taking on new adventures.
