County officials, members of the Lake County Historical Society, and other local leaders gathered together to retire tattered American flags that once flew high in Lake County, and others brought forth by the community. The ceremony, led by Carey Baker, which took place at the Lake County Historic Courthouse in Tavares on July 26, was the culminating event for Lake County’s “Pride in America Month.”
