AdventHealth to Build New Emergency Department in Fruitland Park

AdventHealth Waterman will soon expand emergency care access in Lake County with the construction of a new free-standing emergency department in Fruitland Park.

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 3, at the future site located at the corner of County Road 466A and Colony Boulevard. The new 14,000-square-foot facility will include 12 patient rooms and will be staffed by a comprehensive clinical team, including board-certified emergency medicine physicians and nurses.

The facility will also offer on-site respiratory therapy, a full-service laboratory, and advanced imaging capabilitiessuch as CT, X-ray, and ultrasound equipment, enabling rapid diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of emergencies.

The new ER is expected to open in early 2026.
