Bobby Jones Potash

Getting started: My dad first got me into golf when I was very young and I have been playing and competing ever since.

Greatest sports achievement: When I made my first hole-in-one at age 7.

Keeping motivated: Remembering why I play golf in the first place. Even when I’m not playing well, I know that I can learn something from every round and practice session. I stay motivated by trusting the process and knowing every setback makes me work a little bit harder.

My coaches: Push me by supporting me when I need it.

Up next: My main goals are to improve my Junior Golf Ranking, and to qualify for the Florida High School State Championship.

Pre-game ritual: I pray before every tournament round asking God to give me wisdom and strength.

For fun: I like to play the guitar when I’m not competing or training.

Top of playlist: “Just In Case” by Morgan Wallen.

Fun fact: I am a good bowler.

Celebrity inspiration: The legendary golfer Bobby Jones is my inspiration.

My message: Never give up.

Future plans: To play in more junior golf events.
