Beacon College’s TV Series ‘A World of Difference’ Wins AAF Angel Award
LEESBURG, Florida — “A World of Difference: Embracing Neurodiversity,” the television show produced by Beacon College, was recognized with a Silver Angel Award in the American Advertising Federation Fourth District for its redesigned website, AWODtv.org. The Angel Award Competition honors the best in public service advertising.
Conducted by the AAF, the Angel Awards competition combines two missions of the organization: to utilize industry expertise to address community issues, and to celebrate and honor advertising excellence.
“A World of Difference: Embracing Neurodiversity” celebrates neurodiversity and empowers families rearing children with learning and attention issues on their journeys from kindergarten through college. Produced by Beacon College, America’s first accredited baccalaureate institution dedicated to educating students with learning and attention issues, the program was saluted in the nonprofit sector with its website partner, PHOS Creative.

Originally from the small town of Berryville, Arkansas, Cindy has become a multimedia specialist in journalism, photography, videography, and video editing. She has a B.S. in Communications from the University of Central Arkansas and produces Style Magazine's Sports Hub Podcast and the Healthy Living Podcast. She also produces for Beacon College’s Telly Award-winning PBS show, “A World of Difference.” When she isn’t working, Cindy loves traveling the National Parks with her husband , Ryan, and son, David, photographing wildlife.
